Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Slotly helps customers book appointments with local businesses. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Customers: name, phone number, booking details, selected business, selected service, booking status, support messages, payment reports, evidence submitted by the customer, ratings, and reviews.
- Businesses: business name, category, area, phone number, business email, hours, services, license name, license number, license state, approval status, booking activity, owner support messages, and a hashed PIN.
- Technical and safety data: timestamps, audit records, SMS opt-out status, and information needed to secure accounts, review reports, and prevent abuse.
How we use it
- To create, confirm, manage, cancel, and review bookings.
- To verify phone numbers and send transactional text messages through Twilio, including verification codes, booking confirmations, appointment reminders, owner alerts, and support messages.
- To review business licenses, approve or reject business accounts, and protect customers and businesses.
- To process support requests, payment reports, trust and safety reports, and account deletion requests.
- To show reviews. Only the customer's first name, rating, and comment may be shown publicly.
Who we share it with
- The business a customer books with, as needed to complete the booking.
- Service providers that run Slotly for us, including Render for hosting and Twilio for text messaging.
- Authorities, regulators, or legal parties when required by law or needed to protect safety and rights.
We do not sell personal information. We do not sell, rent, or share SMS opt-in data or SMS consent for third-party marketing.
Business license data
Business license information is used for review, approval, trust, and safety. It is not intended for public display unless Slotly explicitly chooses to show a limited trust badge or the business separately provides public license information.
Text messages
By entering your phone number or using booking features, you may receive transactional texts about your bookings or business account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep records while needed to operate Slotly, support users, comply with law, and protect the platform. You can request deletion from Delete my data or by emailing support.
